Ok, since its wordpress here we go :

1) read Documentation (As the normal way may not work as it could be different based on theme)

Go to -> Appearance , Then go to – > Menus

There will be tabs at the center top. Footer, Main ect.

Select “Main”. See how they look like stair cases? The Menu item all the way to the left it the main button. The next step on the stair case is the drop down, next step down a drop down of the 1st drop down make sence?

Note: Dont forget to save your menu so the changes take effect

To Add custom links, there is a box to the left. You will see all your pages on the left as well.

Once you add a custom link or page to the menu, you can Hold and drag it within the menu,
