My october withdraw was on 29-Oct-2010 , and today my last, but I think there were like $10 on October also. Anyway I do not mind BUT I do not want to be banned or asked to give money back or som like that. I just know every time I was making a withdraw the next second I was having $0. Well I don’t earn much so I do not schedule withdraws, I don’t even keep track when the money are coming (all I know it;s being sent within 30-45 days)

You can’t have the mask as the hit area if you want the buttons underneath to work, since you will need to make the mask’s visibility false, which will eliminate the hit area.

Firstly set the mask’s visibility to false. This means that you will be able to click on each of the buttons underneath the mask, and the mask effect will still work.

bar.setMask(mask_mc); mask_mc._visible = false;

With regard to the hit area, if it is slightly flexible, a possible workaround could be to use the onMouseMove function instead of a hit area – so that the menu slides in when the mouse moves, and slides out again after the mouse has been idle for a while. For example:

this.onMouseMove = function(){ menuOut(); }

Then use a timer (using setInterval) to find when to slide the menu in again.

If the hit area is precise, then instead of having a movieclip to define the area, you could possibly use an if function (within an onEnterFrame function) which finds out whether the mouse x (this._xmouse) and mouse y (this._ymouse) positions are over the desired area.

If you used AS3 , i would suggest the next workaround… Get the rectangle object of the movieclip and throught that you could check whether that mouseX/Y is contained by it. Of course you need to have some enterframe or timing to check it. And after that you can dispatch your (mouse_up) event manually.

I’m not sure i understand the problem perfectly, but doesn’t onReleaseOutside solve your problem?

Add another transparent movieclip with the same x and y positions as the onRelease clip, and place this on over all layers. Then give it the same function as the clip under the mask

layer from top to bottom -> an inviisble button -> a mask -> a movieclip in the mask.

when button roll over roll out you can call the movieclip to play sth. detects click using the invisible button.

Hmm… it’s a workaround but not ideal. I should have mentioned it earlier, but the movieclip also has rollover / rollout functions (a colour change), which would not be satisfied by an invisible button. Thanks for the idea though – I’ll give it a go if I don’t get any more suggestions.

Try placing the mask in a layer bellow the my_mc.
