We are okay with the price increase but would love to have more flexibility when it comes to pricing certain items. The problem is that the more features you have, the more expensive your item gets. But you can’t really create an item that is not responsive etc. without getting the s* beaten out by buyers who demand a full blown theme. Our last item for example is pretty simple but because of the stuff it can do it still sells for $40 even though we really believe it would be far more appropriate for $35. But “downgrading” on features to match a lower price point would piss off buyers…
I think it would be great if reviewers gave is two price options to choose from.
Looks like Facebook for adults
I spotted two items from videohive in a tv broadcast from “ZDF NEO ” in Germany. The broadcast deals with the rude language on the internet (twitter etc)
Bryandrake’s “Social Media Network Animation” can be seen at 4:21 and yocreative’s “timeline story” is a bit modified but actually functions as an opener at 1:00.
Congrats to the both of you! I’ll probably will never see any of my websites on TVHere is the link to the video: http://www.zdf.de/ZDFmediathek/beitrag/video/1734424/Trollitik?setTime=2.283 Items: http://videohive.net/item/social-media-network-animation/263357?WT.ac=search_thumb&WT.seg_1=search_thumb&WT.z_author=bryandrake http://videohive.net/item/timeline-story/2601481
I don’t like responsive layouts personally. We added it to our newest theme because users were asking for it. In my opinion a website looks still great when it’s not responsive and if you really need/want a mobile friendly site – you should get a “real” mobile site instead a trimmed down version…
good luck – you are definitely one of the “faces” of envato – so you’ll be missed!
congrats – no improvements needed
TylerQuinn saidI’d say different displays has to do with thinness and lightness but I’m not sure.
Well, i’m also thinking about getting the latest MBP 13 ” because the retina MB looks too over-priced to me.TylerQuinn said
from what I have read you cannot even connect the 13” Pro to an external monitor.
Are you sure?
These two look like connected 13” MBPs ..http://media.netmagazine.futurecdn.net/files/images/2012/5/coyierdesk.jpg http://media.netmagazine.futurecdn.net/files/images/2012/5/samanthasdesk2.jpg
I cant find the thread I was reading on the Apple Support Forums but it had gone unaswered. I think they were talking about the ability to upgrade the actual LCD panel. The upgraded 15” allows for: “Configurable to 1680-by-1050 high-resolution glossy or antiglare display.”Being a new model refresh a year later, I dont see how the 13” Pro and 13” Air could have such different displays. I did notice (and have read on the Apple forums) that the Pro LCD ’s do have a much better color gamut.
Didn’t they abstain from updating the displays in order to force the display fetishists to buy a much more expensive retina Macbook?
