Don’t take this the wrong way but if you are afraid of public criticism then posting in an open forum and uploading your work to a stock marketplace is probably not right for you…
You have no buyer badge? You should log in using the account which purchased the file and ask the author
Are you planning on paying someone to teach you?!
Based on this post and your others, needing to learn Wordpress and needing a PSD designer to work with you – you are obviously at a stage in your knowledge where short codes are the least of your worries. There are a lot more basic principals you need to learn first.
Why not look at a framework? That all aside the others who posted here are highly talented and respected authors and as a “community” especially when you are asking for help, being polite is very important. Even beyond here if you actually get to the point of selling files then you will need some real patience and manners to deal with supporting difficult buyers!
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. The update log shows a new version in June to compensate for new twitter API (as well as one very recently for 3.6) – do you definitely have the latest version?
I get I is frustrating but the file was released under old API so technically it worked as it needed to when released and given we buy “as is” then technically they have done nothing wrong even if it may feel that way! Good luck
Most of what you want is quite straight forward and there are quite a few options out there however of course you will need local server or Internet connectivity to update anything Wordpress related I.e your blog.
XML fed portfolios you won’t really find that often in site templates here.
Finally your passworded galleries for members etc. that is either going to require you building it in a CMS of some sort like Wordpress so you can assign membership via databases or it will need some quite extensive development to add it to a site template from here.
Aside from the editing without internet is there any particular reason for wanting a site template over something like WP?
You need to be aware that it is a common misconception that PSD is easier to get on to here. TO pass review in the PSD category your design needs to be versatile, refined and pixel perfect in design.
Generally speaking one page PSDs are even harder due to the restrictive nature and options of the design in terms of being coded up and the more limited design space.
In short to get a one page design through on PSD you are going to need to be a seriously strong designer with a solid concept in mind.
Did you design this using a grid? Your typogrpahy is definitely the biggest problem but there are othe rbits and peices like the map looks just chucked in, contact page needs work, team members look squashed and some design basics in spacing and alignment.
I think you would have more luck to code the design up (BUT it will still need improving visually) but first I’d go through the biggest selling PSDs here and look at how detailed and defined their design skills are.
Try emailing the author of the file you purchased
With all due respect I would suggest starting a new project- this is a long way off TF standard.
As it is looks like a free theme. Typogrpahy needs massive work, Footer and header need improving, design layout looks outdated and inconsistent.
Sorry to be harsh but it saves you time in the long run
