Safari 6, that’s the one in Mountain Lion.. Right?
Just upgraded yesterday, still getting used to Safari and notification centre…
Perhaps desaturate all the images that will be used in the background, this will draw the focal attention to the login form and social connection options without being too distracting.
I like the concept of having the background change each time the page is refreshed, or each time a login attempt Is made. Also, perhaps style the users “Username” and “Password” field to the same style of the users disay picture/ avatar.
Here are a couple images of the OSX login screen for reference and inspiration:
Honestly, I don’t know what you can do about this.
However, if this person that has produced a similar flyer and has used your work as inspiration, you should be flatterd. It shows that they. Slice your work is nice and worth imitating.
I would suggest the MacBook Pro. While the Air doesn’t meet the same standards as the MacBook Pro, it’s still a rather powerful machine! However, you may have to purchase an external CD/DVD reader and writer if you plan on using such materials. Also, it’s display don’t contend well with the Pro.
Don’t let the negative points dawn on you, it’s also extremely lightweight, quiet, and powerfull for what it is, but if more power, better features, and performance are your buying strategy, the the MacBook Pro would be the better cchoice over the Airs extreme portability.
Hope this helps you.
No, it’s just unfortunate that your work was rejected. I was referring to the terms in which whoever reviews your work.
Keep your chin up though, Im sure you’ll be able to create plenty more work
Aww, sorry to see it was rejected. I’m pretty sure they have a tough time approving and rejecting materials, but that’s the terms of the marketplace. :/
That’s great! I can’t wait till my submissions are on the market. Congratulations on the red paw!
Well, I literally just joined the community here. I now work full time for myself as a freelance graphic and web designer, so I am definetly in that 80% catagory.
I hope to make and publish some great content for users here on Graphicriver.
I feel that the nitty gritty is:
Both designs submitted are far to generic. Envato have an extremely high quality image to maintain, not only in the quality of work that they offer on the multiple websites, but in the image of driven sales. Without sales, none of this would even be possible.
To generalize, I feel that the submissions are of generic “cheapo” dare I say it? Vistaprint, tasteless quality.
Forgive me if I have offended you in any way, but I’m sure there is a much higher standard that you would work to after comparing these designs with the many others offered in the Print templates category?
Two critiques: The drop shadows on the circles need a little work, and “Subscribe your e-mail address” doesn’t read correctly.
Perhaps work on at least those two minor details? There are a few other changes I would suggest, but I don’t want to be “that guy” calling out all the discrepancies others may not agree with.
To sum up, I like it, great job!
