Depends on the person, people learn differently. For me learning HTML /CSS was simply using other peoples code and adapting it and learning from it by changing each part and noting the differences.

Well, that’s kinda included in my “code everyday” point. It’s up to you, no one says start from scratch or whatever.

Just do it your way, but DO IT . Don’t just read a lot and only then start coding, ‘cause you’ll most likely forget a lot you’ve read.

@CAMS +1 – google is THE BEST eBook (lol)

@kevin – same here :) trial&error is annoying at first, but it builds foundation.

Well, if I would afford a Mac, I’d buy one for the MAC OSX .

It is maybe the only thing I’d give that much money on a desktop/laptop for.

It is the most beautiful and stable OS, with little to no chances of getting viruses.

Any designer should have something like that, although we can’t all afford one.

And considering CODA , it’s an awesome environment to work in ;)

That’s my take on MACs, the rest is just eye-candy.

If things would be as you first thought, would you feel comfortable with people knowing how much money you make?

Not that one can’t figure it out by looking at your sales and then the percentage grid (lol)

Anyway, congrats and paws up, right? :D

Hi lukk,

My tip would be to try and code everyday, or at least see and mingle with html and css everyday.

This way, plus reading, you’ll learn faster.

Try to practice, and when you hit a wall, only then go to some reference and read ;)

Practice makes perfect, isn’t that what they say? :D

ah, now I see

Well, you got the sponsors in your blogroll widget.

You would just need to move that code (from <!- begin blogroll -> to <!- end blogroll ->) and place it before the categories widget starts (before <!- begin categories ->)

Cheers!

Indeed, learning to hand-code is the best thing.

Don’t rely on automated solutions for this.

Hello,

How do we get our sponsors on top instead of categories?

Thank you!

Betty

Can you be more specific?

nice but I think I’ll stick with jquery for now.

Indeed, jQuery is far more popular.

However, I think myUI is promising, and it can evolve into something quite awesome.

I too am using this for testing now. Just wanted to try something different than the so popular jQuery :)
