Off topic: Probably you’ve also noticed that several authors also have animated avatars
It was indeed allowed in the past but now you won’t be allowed to use one
Back on topic: Steve (Australia) is correct, you can use an animated PNG
@Novadust – I believe the OP was referring to the homepage (profile) image. There’s no way of using JS there

Hey, I got a new badge! Yay!
BenSheppard saidYup, it’s misplaced in the sprite. 0 -18px instead of the current 0 -20px for the background position still doesn’t solve it, it brings up the icon above it.
looks a bit squashed on the sprite so it brings the bottom of the support ring in at the bottom

FlatlineRo saidIt looks like one of us got lost in translation, not sure who though
I smack a lady if I have to tell her twice and given the fact that you are a bit out of reach and I’m not that keen on spending money traveling just to prove a point I would have to politely step away from your misleading and poorly deduced reply, you misunderstood me starting from the first 2 words. Just in case you still don’t get my message that was clearly meant for a general audience, I was just stating that it’s illogical to make such a big deal out of silly demands coming from people that are hiring you to do something that they can’t (meaning that they have no clue how it works and this can lead to silly questions and/or demands).
Plus, I still think the truth depicted in the photo is hilarious. Therefore, I reserve my right to agree to disagree.
FlatlineRo saidOf course. No offense taken, buddy! BTW, your portfolio rocks!
The smack part is an obvious joke, I took your advice and wrote it smiling.

A blonde woman gets pulled over by a police officer… The officer is also a blonde woman. She asks the driver for her license. The blonde woman rummages through her purse for a minute before getting frustrated.. What does it look like again, she asks.. The officer says, it’s rectangle and has your photograph on it. The blonde woman looks around some more and says, oh here it is. She pulls out a small mirror and shows it to the officer… The officer said, oh you can go, I didn’t realize you’re a police officer too.
PRICELESS!

You guys need to learn how to say I can’t and get on with your lives…put it this way, imagine you had a job where you moved bricks 8 hours a day for 200$/month…my guess is that after a hard day’s work you will think twice about making such a big deal out of silly client demands.
It’s only a joke, nothing more. Do you feel offended? It’s your problem if you do. I never said Photoshop was my second nature. In fact, my Photoshop skills are average at best. Not everybody here knows Photoshop inside out like you do.
Off topic: if I had a job where I had to move bricks for 8 hours on a daily basis, I’d either request a hefty salary raise, or find a (much) better paid job.
Back on topic: You seem to contradict yourself – either it’s a big deal, or the clients’ demands are silly.
Well nevermind that. I’d kindly suggest you to put a big smile on your face. That was the purpose of my thread.
