Hope your planning on making it responsive!
Morning…
I recently submitted the follow PSD design at the weekend and got a hard rejection.
Just wondered if anybody could take a look and give me some critique

The overall quality of your submission does not meet our aesthetic and technical requirements and will need to be improved before being resubmitted. Unfortunately we’re not able to provide more specific feedback for your submission at this time.
When programming or designing? or contributing…...
What do you listen too?
Looks like I dont use it enough.

How many use the app and how many use the web interface?
It’s seems to be that this is becoming more popular each year with my friends on Facebook. So I thought I’d join in.
Design – Photoshop Code – Coda2
And that’s about it.
Hi Ivor,
Code the Slash design or the Martom?
Well i must say many thanks, to be honest I wasn’t expecting such a reaction as I usually get one comment which isn’t very helpful!
Like I mentioned my previous design got rejected for being too consistant so I thought I would just put something together with different element.
I might have a go at finishing it off.
Many thanks again!
No the reason why I submitted it was because I got the following comments in the design below…
There are a few unique touch with this template, especially the presentation for skills, tweets and team. They look good as individual elements. But when you put them together, they simply failed to work well with each others. It looks repetitive and the entire flow is corrupted.
Also, you overuse the circle shapes, really. I think you have a good sense in placing elements or managing the consistency of spacing, because the template did look tidy and organised. But the overall design look plain. Being consistent is good, but, over consistent will make it looks boring. you still have to use one or two key elements to draw attentions.
I just wanted to test the other way round where its more varied.
Anyway just a quick post to see if you have any thoughts or suggestions?
Another one for the bin
