I don’t have that “Ratings” menu option in my items. I assume that’s just for elite authors?
Iconfinder is pretty good too. Careful with the licence
Learning Photoshop is not that hard. Photoshop have like million options and fx combination, but you don’t need them all. Basics can do the trick.
The hardest part goes after you learned Photoshop – somebody calls that “experience”. And it takes time. Lots of time spending on designing web sites. Forms, color matching, white space adding, etc… But it’s crucial that you don’t give up! Never give up!
But, you can always find a partner with good skills and split the profit
50/50 is fair deal.
If you are profile holder and have a good percentage rate (you vs TF / elite author), great PS skills (not making generic design) and you have a fair number of fb/twitter followers and subscribers – you can go even higher (55/45 to 60/40).
And you can’t mesure spending time on developing with the quality of work. Those two don’t mix. Same thing is with the design.
Just my 2 cents
Congrats tonvie
Well deserved…
Congrats mate. Well deserved.
Btw – pretty cool avatar
Are we (TF/Envato authors) in some way entrepreneurs?
Don’t know about you guys, but it’s too much for me at the moment.
+1 for Html
tiberiualexander saidWell I use Illustrator for my templates often (you can check my Landerous or Big Bang template)
Anyway, why would somebody use Illustrator for website design? You don’t need vector shapes in a template.
So, yes – it can be helpful.
