Keliah, I would like to thank you for your positive response. I will take your suggestions and give it another shot.

I was simply really frustrated with the whole process and didn’t mean to bash the site.

A really nice thing would be if 1 person could review your theme to the end. That way you’re not told that it’s almost ready only to be taken back to it needs a lot of improvement.

Hey guys,

So I thought it would be a good idea to try my hand at creating a theme for sale on here. I figured the submission process would be tedious but from what I have experienced this past week it’s almost unbearable.

I have now been rejected 3 times for this theme…

I understand it’s not the greatest and could have a lot more features however…

Each time I resubmit the theme with all the fixes mentioned a new person reviews it and gives me even MORE fixes then mentioned before. This isn’t bad if the fixes were legitimate however I feel as if each time they just tell me it’s not good enough.

Another thing that made me really upset is that the reviewer didn’t even read my comments that I had left for him. I specifically said the site would not let me upload a file after trying for 3 hours with 7 different zip programs and 4 browsers. So I included a link to the file in the comments where the reviewer would be able to grab it. This is the response I got…

1) Sorry, you didn’t upload the correct files to the Main Files section.

After this experience I feel that it’s way too much of a burden to attempt to please the review staff and have given up.

If 5 ppl reply and want the theme I will send it to them for free.

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anybody has been having some serious issues with uploading .zip files to Theme Forest.

I understand Winzip, 7zip & lzarc are known to have problems but I’ve now tried 7 different zip programs.

I’ve even tried all of the files in 4 different browsers.

I feel that there should be another option to get these files to the reviewers cause I’ve now spent 3 hours trying to upload a single file with no luck in the end.

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if I could have some feedback & suggestions on my theme to help it along in the approval process.

The theme was rejected as a .psd and once again as a coded site template. So I need some ideas on how I can improve it.
