I didn’t even realise some of the menu items expanded until I read AMcDermott reply.

I’m not sure how authors will be able to test this with their items. Would it be possible to work with the authors own items when they use their own API key? At least this way we can add and test it out with items we already have for sale on the marketplace.

I don’t understand why someone would hard code styling to the page IDs of their live preview. It’s a very strange decision.

Yup. Background images look fine to me too.

That is awesome. It should save me some time searching through Flickr creative commons.

The item you bought is a HTML template and not a WordPress theme. Therefore it has no native blog or widget functionality as a site template is simply a static website design.

You have to remember that most of the buyers on this market place are not savy to this market place or, in many cases, web design or technology (I’m not talking specifically about natalieadams, but buyers in general). These buyers come to the market place and search through all the items with just the knowledge that they are looking for a WordPress theme. So when they find an item explicitly referring to itself very generically as a theme it’s no surprise there is confusion.

I really hope people don’t start using Google translate to mass produce translation files because we’ll end up with a lot of very poorly translated items. If you are serious about offering ready made translations spend the money and get it done by someone who can actually speak the language. You don’t have to use a professional translation service. Ask friends, family, students or other authors and buyers here on the forums.
