Any luck with this unisphere? I’ve noticed a serious problem with the username not being linked to the item purchase code. If someone gives out a valid purchase code, anybody else can register an account with that code since it is not stored in the forum database. If the username was obtained from the purchase code this would prevent the same purchase code from being used for multiple account since the username is stored in the forum database.
Nice observation Organic. I looked at the shot earlier and never noticed that. However I’m skeptical that his is nothing more than a change of name for the FAQs section. Maybe a developer or Collis can confirm whether or not they will be implementing a more forum based section to item pages that can be searched easily?
And to answer the question, as a buyer (but someone who also has a support forum) I would much rather ask my questions on the item page than have to register at a forum – it’s a much quicker process. I think you’ll find very few buyers say the opposite.
Really appreciate that unisphere. I’m working on it myself, but I’m getting know where!
Thanks a lot Matt.
Well it works, which is a great start! Are you using it on your own forum now? I can’t see any issues with the code, but then I’m not a PHP expert. Is it safe to use on our live support forums?
Has anyone got any idea on how to remove the need for the user to enter their username? I notice Kriesi and DDStudios do not have this field.

I wasn’t mad about anything…I just thought you were looking for someone who knew their stuff… that’s all
no hard feelings… good luck…
No hard feelings at all. I love your attitude on the forum/Twitter, so I totally get your response. I’m not looking for any real expertise just someone with a decent coding knowledge of the languages mentioned and WordPress that can help out along with myself and one other person.
I’ve got quite a few responses before yours landonw, if they don’t work out I’ll give you an email. Thanks.
I’m looking to offer $50/week for 5 days a week (changed from 7), not an hour I’m afraid. luckykind was not too happy about that, which is fair enough. But you will also be able to offer paid support/development for questions beyond basic support which will also earn you a nice bit of money. The $50/week will be doubled to around $100/week ($20/hour) when I release a few more themes (one of which is on its way) but the amount of hours will stay the same.
MattStrange saidI saw lots of discussion about this a long time ago but didn’t realise anyone had achieved it. Thanks for making me aware of this Matt I will certainly be implementing it.

As I make more themes I simply don’t have enough time to answer the inflow of support questions I’m receiving. So I’m looking for two people to become full time support staff on my support forum at: http://www.ghostpool.com/support This will be a paid position and require you to be on the forum for 30 mins to 1 hour a day answering support questions, 7 days a week. You will need to answer basic HTML , CSS, jQuery and PHP questions and basic theme set up questions. If you’re interested please contact me through my profile page contact form.Hey man, you might want to integrate the envato api to your forum:

Might save you a bit of time.

I should stress that all my themes are WordPress related so you have to have WordPress knowledge. What a great point to omit! Thanks for reminding me SportTipsWorld.
fillerspace, a good suggestion but then if a user is receiving support from a specific staff member and then there three days are up, they’ll either need to wait until the following week or have someone else pick it up which can sometimes cause difficulties. I just want two people to spend 30 mins to an hour max on the forums every day. If they miss a day now and again that’s fine.
Already had a lot of emails which is good.
