Welcome to the jungle!
If you mean “approval” of an electro and/or drumandbass track, yes of course, almost we all had that kind of success. But if you mean whether such a track would have succes (as in lots of sales), I can say I really have no idea. But, why not? I have witnessed so many ridiculously non-commercial tracks made lots of sales here
So, be patient. Try to take into consideration the reason behind your item being rejected. Try to correct it and you will make your first sale before even you know it!
By the way, I suggest you to shuffle through the portfolios of Audiojungle authors, just to form an opinion about commercializing your music. There are tens of thousands awesome examples around.
Yes it finally announced.
I will definitely be playing it and can’t wait to see the first trailer on 2nd of November.
What about you?
This one progress exactly like you need. First 30 seconds is suitable to be silenced and then beat starts. and it is 132 bpm. It is not looped but making it a looped track is piece of cakehttp://audiojungle.net/item/hands-up/466735
Speaking of which, you can check out this music pack (of 5 dynamic techno tracks) including that one.http://audiojungle.net/item/dynamic-techno-pack/496090
Best of luck with your project!
This is awesome!
Let’s build some pyramids!
mpc saidThese are two different things. We need authors forum to talk about the stuff only related to authors, and every author is the same in that aspect, as for your ‘elites’, make yourself hundreds of supersecret highly unreachable forums, what do i care.
I also think that there should be Elite forum instead of Authors forum…
Although I think it’s all right to be excited about and celebrate a red paw (or even a brown or orange paw, for that matter), I agree that it would be nice to have a spot reserved just for this. One reason is to keep threads separate, but another good reason is that authors (IMO) would feel encouraged to post their successes instead of feeling like it was a guilty pleasure, or not posting at all. (Actually, I’d love to see this happen automatically somehow when certain milestones are reached).
I remember you mentioned that automatic milestone post thing before Joel, and I think it is a really good idea. Like we agree, it is perfectly ok to feel excited about new accomplishments, but they would be in some other area.
Oh by the way, +1 on your +1 author only thread explanation. Hey, that makes +2!
I would really like to see some kind of celebration/announcement kind of forum for authors. Because almost everyday another “new paw” or “number of sales” thread pops up and it is getting annoying. Please seperate these kind of threads from the more useful parts of the forum. I have no interest to see who has just reached 100 sales or who is this week’s winner of shiny black paw! (Even a red paw in some cases. Come on guys, seriously?!) Feeling happy about it and desiring to share it with fellow authors is perfectly ok, but I just think this must be in another section.
If you are still looking for a song, there is a 30 seconds track from me. It is joyful, positive and dynamic and I think it fits the project.http://audiojungle.net/item/tv-radio-commercial-5/123116
Sorry to say
but as you can see, not many people from AJ even joined this thread. Why ? Because for AJ authors it’s an absolute useless and unfair tool. What you hear ( in the preview ) is what you get. There are no fancy codes or tool implemented in audiofiles, so why should someone rate about the usage of a file ? IF a buyer rates, then it’s mostly about taste, and this is useless.Just my thoughts about the rating system for audiofiles.
Hey SonicCube, I am here, and I wonder if you ever had one of your items rated below 3 stars.. Well it happened to me a couple of times, when there is absolutely no reason! I think you got my point. By the way, I agree it is useless and unfair for us (AJ authors). It was useless and unfair and now it is turning into some harmful and abusive tool.
