About 20% below average, but I haven’t released an item in a while so slightly lower sales is understandable.
Yes it’s another cliche forum post about a sales milestone.
Anyways I finally hit 1,000 sales!!
When I started Videohive I never dreamed of having 1,000 sales, at the time my main goals were simply getting things approved. Thanks to Videohive my After Effects skills have improved astronomically, and I have all of you to thank for that.
To the reviewers, thank you for rejecting / soft rejecting me and thank you for all your input and critiques!
To my fellow authors, thank you for the great comments and support on my items, your greatness is fueling this awesome Videohive community; keep up the good work!
And of course thank you to all my customers, I wouldn’t be at this milestone without you all!
Thanks again everyone, hope you all have an awesome day!
This might have been pointed out already, I’m not sure.
The marketplace logos on an author’s profile page are cut off, as you can see in this screenshot:
Yeah sales started off strong but went downhill over the past 48 hours or so.
I’m still getting consistent sales.
January was good, pretty comparable to last month which was also good.
I wouldn’t say it’s certain effects but certain styles and looks instead. Files will good implementation of basic design principles are approved more often because they look good. I’d say there’s a way to use every effect in AE correctly and make a good looking output.
My public portfolio is not sorting by date, it looks to be completely random.
Great month so far, very consistent and high amounts of sales!
