Personally though, the PSD section is a good litmus test for the quality of your design. Yes, it is harder to get accepted by the code section, but why not try improving it and you’ll probably do better when coded as well? I don’t agree that quality of design is irrelevant for PSDs if the elements lack complexity, but of course I can’t be sure about that.

IMO though, the design is great, but it needs a little more white space near the footer. Also, stuff like the main tagline “This is Synoptic PSD ….” could do with abit more polish, it looks a little.. lacking right now.

Bumping a old thread but it’s relevant… just a question:

What’s the stance on a buyer filling up your template with his content and logo and then submitting it to a css gallery site under his name? Minimal modification, plus it’s kindof a web-design related site, so it really kinda annoys me more than I normally would be. Do we have the right to get the galleries to remove it?

i.e. 500×50 > 250×50 + 250×40

the purple text is hard to read. Personally, the white in your header/footer is really bringing your design to life, you might want to consider adding some more white. good luck.

Well we never have winter here, but last week the sun was being… sunny. Really unbearable temperatures almost every day. This week? It’s raining cats and dogs perpetually. Well, not really complaining I guess.

While I do agree that a few themes recently (not necessarily in the past week) don’t seem to be very… premium, Over the past few months the quality has definitely risen. I’m constantly seeing themes that make me go wow (in fact there are quite a few themes that i have no idea why they don’t sell more), and as an author that gives me motivation to improve more to meet the rising standards

Could we have a rough date of when the magneto theme competition will be on?
