Glad to help mate
– keep up the great work!
You need to declare that the template is paged. See http://weblogtoolscollection.com/archives/2008/04/19/paging-and-custom-wordpress-loops/
this uses WP_query though but it can give you the overall idea.
This is my favorite so far:
Payment Options
Me: “Ok, the bid is $2,500 what payment schedule works best for you? I can take a deposit of 10% up front and you can pay the balance on delivery OR I can discount the entire project by 10% if you pay the entire bid in advance.”
Client: “Oh, I’ll take the discount and pay it all in advance.”
Me: “Ok, well then I’ll get started just as soon as I receive the payment.”
Client: “Oh, I’ll pay you when it’s done. Don’t you trust me?”
Me: “Oh, I thought you wanted to pay in advance so that you could get the discount.”
Client: “I do! I’ll pay in advance once the job is completed!”
^^
Great stuff! in a couple of weeks no one will complain anyways, I just think that the fact buyers we’rent informed was a bad move, but anyway there is no better deal than buying at TF.
I agree with Hein! People starting to ask me that “why your theme is cheap with these backend options?” “What is wrong with the theme?” Altough I’m happy with prices of my themes at the moment but really don’t know why and it’s really hard to answer these kind of questions sometimes.@Kailoon: you know which WP theme is good, you’re researching allways new things about WP and doing really great job. Maybe you can give us some specific details. Wouldn’t be a great to write a tutorial “increase value of your WP theme!”
just my two cents!
That would be a great idea, and I have received the same kind of comments about the pricing of my themes. Though, I am happy as well with pricing so far. A tutorial or article about this may help authors increase the quality of their work.
Instead of saying that a theme is priced highly based on the author’s popularity, it’s more logical to make the assumption that the reason that they are popular authors is because their work is higher quality (which would explain the price difference).Absolutely.![]()
Sorry to say this but this is not exactly true, sometimes it helps when your a popular author or not, look at kriesi his latest theme Display 3 in 1.
This theme has nothing more to offer then the most themes out here and it was priced at 40 from the beginning, so it sure helps when a author is popular and a good seller, this way themeforest and the author is benefiting from it.
Nothing wrong with that but please don’t tell different.
+1 and I have nothing against it. Is a good business ^^ is a just a fact.
I’d say that author’s popularity counts
it sounds logic that if you’re a good seller your theme would cost $5+ more than the average.
That is not fancy like you said, but it looks quite professional and classic. Sincerely: great stuff
