I think it’s a great idea. All of the tracks I checked related very well. I’m sure we could all do better if we devoted hours to searching for “perfect companions,” but who has that kind of time? I’d rather go write and record more music. Awesome plan.

At the risk of sounding trite, “better to try something great and fail than try nothing and succeed.”

Would it really be all that much of an organizational nightmare if broken up into small steps? We like games & contests – start out with a contest for pitches for the overall concept. Run it for a month have everyone vote for their favorite idea. We could do the same thing with graphic backgrounds, element designs, sound effects, music, etc.

The open source community manages this all the time. Why not us?

First of all – love what you have going here. I blundered onto the site last summer, and have had a great time making & posting music for sale. My sales aren’t through the roof yet, but I’ve gotten enough to encourage me to keep working.

I’ve been doing a lot of keyword research on Google lately while trying to get a webpage to rank higher, and the thought occurred to me that it would be really handy to have the same thing here. If artists could see the sort of keywords buyers were doing searches on, it could bump us on to the right track to meet their needs and increase sales. Everybody wins.

I would think that Google analytics could make this a pretty easy addition to the next update, and increase sales all-around for everybody. Just something to think about.
