This is a really nice and clean site. I am new to videohive and have been searching for someone to give me some support on creating a video for my company. So far, no one has answered and really need direction. Is the video you have on your website from videohive? Sorry but I am really confused. skype: mamamia1347
Unfortunately not, it’s a custom made video. Did you post a message on the forums about this subject already (e.g. ‘Looking for a company video’ in the category ‘Item Requests’)?
Welcome latrucoteca! It’s nice to have you here. Your portfolio looks promising, hope to see more in the near future!
One thing I would comment on, and this may be a problem on my side, but when I view the preview of the Create theme, it loads fine. When I view it on yours, it loads rather slowly.
We don’t recognize this problem, but we’ll certainly take a look at it! Thanks for your kind words!
I couldn’t figure out the navigation when I clicked on the graphic river section. Also there was a broken link when I clicked “view project”.
Thanks for the notice, we’ll make it easier to use and we’ve changed the link.
But I think some times the main slider isn’t loading. I don’t whether it’s only for me or not
I think it has to deal with the size of the images, we’ll make them smaller. Thanks for your comment, we really appreciate it!
The two images in the main banner are awesome and striking, but their combined size is over 2MB. That is huge. Try compressing them a bit.
Also, GR link should be:http://graphicriver.net/user/InterantMedia
Thanks for your comment! We’re working on smaller images and the link has been changed.
We’re active at GraphicRiver for quite some time and we’ve changed our website very often, just because we couldn’t find the perfect design. Because we’ve got many clients and much work to do, we don’t have that much time to build an own website (although we tried it several times!). We decided to use an existing template, so we could change it until we thought it was perfect. That’s exactly what we did. We mixed our style in the template and we can finally announce our new website: interantmedia.com.
But we don’t want to use this thread to promote our website. We want to ask you if you have got suggestions, comments, ideas etc. Since we didn’t build this template on our own (though we customized it quite a lot), we might have got some unseen errors or such. Perhaps you’ve got an awesome idea to improve the homepage, or perhaps you have a great suggestion.
Everything is welcome, if you keep it kind. Thanks so much!
- For those who are interested: we are working on a new logo, based on the current one
I disagree that it’s a problem on the whole. There’s nothing on here you wouldn’t see on the front cover of a magazine at the eye level of a school kid in a shop. However, I would agree that it is a problem with people who just put a semi naked girl on the front, and the overall flyer is shite.
Of course the problem is these type of designs DO sell…
That’s true. The internet has freedom and people have rights to sell those flyers/images. But I don’t think that GraphicRiver was meant to be a marketplace with so much flyers like this. Envato could mention it at least if GraphicRiver was meant to sell those items, so (potential) authors could take into account. For me, this isn’t professional and innovative, this is stingy.
I thought it was forbidden to sell items with sexual content (“Does the item contain any potentially offensive content (Eg. Violence, sexual content, offensive language content)?”). This comes really close.
It’s quite difficult for me to determine, since I don’t know what kind of file it actually is. I’d recommend to take a look around at this website to get some inspiration. Good luck!
This absolutely disturbed in my opinion. GraphicRiver should be a professional marketplace with professional items. Like Hotpin says: these flyers aren’t special because the authors used unique techniques or so. These flyers are literally nothing without those pictures, and that makes me sad. This is not the way how this marketplace should work.
We uploaded a new item a few days ago and within a few hours it wasn’t even visible on the homepage anymore. The homepage is flooded by those flyers and there is an awesome file once in a while, but not that often. There are new quality standards and I really saw a difference in the first couple of days. But that’s totally gone.
I think that GraphicRiver becomes more and more unprofessional, which is the reason that we won’t sell any (new) items any longer. I think quickandeasy is right: these aren’t wrong files, as long as it isn’t the picture that you’re buying. This is GraphicRiver and not Half-NakedPhotoRiver, so that’s the difference.
Besides that, why do reviewers approve these items? It’s their job to determine if a file is good enough or not. It’s really unbelievable that files like this are apparently good enough for a place of high standards.
I hope Envato will tackle this seriously and professional, because this isn’t how a marketplace which claims to has ‘high quality files’ should work.
