As suggested, please open a Support ticket for any payment and account related issues. They’ll be happy to help you out :) Thanks!

As GDragoN said, you’ll want to open a Support ticket and they’ll be able to help you with any payment issues. Thanks!

nice work, but if the staff are going to be consistent in maintaining this forum, aren;t they going to relocate this thread? i’ve had friends who’ve posted congratulations on their 100 sales, and their thread was rudely and abruptly moved to off-topic

Sorry. We’re not trying to be either rude or abrupt :) All congratulations threads should be started in the Off-topic section. If they are not, we will move them there to keep everything clean and organized. Thanks!

Heya. Sorry I didn’t get to check the link, I had removed it and then I tried to go back and check it, but it was gone :)

If you’re following the licensing agreements, then it should be fine. You should probably also sign up as an affiliate and use your affiliate code when you link back to the site if people wish to purchase the images. You’d also want to make it clear that the images cannot be reused in any way without purchasing a license first. You know how it is with people, they see a nice image and they just want to download it and use it, that’s why I locked the post in the first place. I was worried about people just scrapping your site and assuming all the images were freebies.

Unfortunately, if you were an affiliate, you wouldn’t be allowed to link to or promote the site from the forums as that would be against our self-promotion rules. It’s a bit of a rock and a hard place situation :D

Unfortunately we’ve had to lock this thread as our community guidelines prohibit the linking to freebies on the forums. Thanks! :)

Licensing is always going to be a bit complex, that’s the nature of these things when you’re dealing with legal issues and a multitude of real world uses. The license page and FAQ recently went through a complete rewrite in an effort to make it understandable. Is it perfect? Certainly not. Will it ever get another rewrite? You can probably bet on that :)

We’ve tried to make it is easy as possible to understand, but there will always be someone with a scenario or situation that doesn’t quite fit or they would like more information that isn’t contained on the page. In those cases, we will always ask that user to open a Support ticket. Because of the complexity of licensing, we do not train every member of every team to answer questions. To be honest, I am very, very glad that it’s not my responsibility to answer licensing questions :) Thanks!

Where is the staff statement?

The more complex license questions should always go through a Support ticket. They’re the experts :)
