Just throwing this out there:What if we could submit “beta” releases that would not need to pass the review process, which would become immediately available. The customer would then have the option to download the latest stable or latest beta version. This would be a good way to get updates out quickly while still maintaining the integrity of the review process. It would also allow us to provide bleeding-edge distributions to customers who want to try out new features, without having the entire customer base upgrade.
I think it’d make sense to give customers access to archived older versions as well, and that system would probably need to be in place for this to work.
Just something to consider.
Good idea but probably harder to implement.
But envato should consider giving this idea a try, and to try and see if it’d work, they could just reverse the current system, auto-approve updates and have reviewers double checking, this way not any more work for anyone, and if it turns out the system is abused it’s easy to roll it back also.

The biggest problem I see with this is that whatever reason they had to increase bundle to 14 days could be used to increase it to 3 weeks and so on, I’d like to know that reason.

What I’d like to know is why?
Is envato under such a threat from a competitor that it needs to beg for new members? Is envato short of cash and need an quick injection to pay for the hosting bill?
Things are cheap enough here and you guys already own the market.

They are only launching with “design” related services, but I also wish there were more services.
However, this is of little importance, we still haven’t got our beta tester badge and this needs to be addressed as a priority
