Leather is supposed to give up that shiny round feel, otherwise it looks too sharp and fake. I do see now that I should have add some blur edges on some of the other mock-ups though…And the cardboard one is too bright…

Can you explain that about pure colors a little better? Also I tried patterns but they just bring the business card out of focus…I would rather not use any patterns but instead I could add a grunge color just to the main shapes and refine the border of the card.

How about the icons? do they need to be smart objects so that they can be re sizable or are they supposed to be small renders?

Thanks, yeah I guess you are right…I’m gonna give it a shot though since I have been working on it for far too long on a crappy laptop, so it’s hard to accept a rejection! X )

I started it a couple of months ago and when it got rejected with a standard copy/paste rejection based on quality issues I left that one aside for a while…It is interesting though to compare and see if you have improved at all…

...Been working on them for quite a while, rejected a couple of times as well, (did not look realistic enough). Does it look like something that is up to the GR standards now, or should I put some more work in it?

It is funny though how every time it gets rejected I see that I REALLY could have made it better and every time I learn something new…Sometimes I upload it because it looks simple, but good, however I overlook that it needs to be as “polished” as possible since it is a print template…Wouldn’t wanna have complaints from the buyers : P

So here is the “polished”, “tweaked” and cleaner, print friendlier version…(If you are still following on the progress) : )
