Hi, It’s a really nice concept. You should put it aside, look for inspiration and come back to it after a few days. Then try to think about what you could change and what you have to keep from the original template (maybe not better, but different). Good luck!
Remove the custom scrollbar, i read somewhere in the forum that reviewers hate them
I have the same problem as craig, with the mousewheel scroll.
That said, it looks pretty nice to me, maybe try something different for the first screen?
Hi, Nice template and colors:)
- You have an error with your tweet plugin,
- Contact section is missing
- toTop arrow icon is not centered
- the sliders buttons could be changed to fit the design (ie. topTop button and sliders have different arrows styles)
- i would rework the menu and first quote style, and put a colored grey in the first slide (this on is just a matter of taste)
- I don’t think parallax is necessary, given the minimal flat style of the template
- regarding the portfolio, i guess pple using it will need more than a slider to display their work/products
Good luck with submission!
Congrats! Well deserved
I wonder if it’s OK to not follow the Twitter requirement when selling themes/templates here?
@PixelsInColors: I was just having a bit of fun with the cat thing; I really don’t think it would affect approval or sale
No problem with cats The typography is looking realling weird, not smooth, on Chrome/win7 for me, when it looks good on FF. There’s something there, not sure what, it ruins everyting. + The padding are not consistents on each section. The contact form fields height look to big… Design looks pretty nice, but i’d say you have to really make every details perfect, as there’s a lot of competition for one page designs here.
Congrats! Keep on with good work
Well, i’d like to have some numbers from the staff too, see if it affect sales or not.
But, i’m pretty sure Envato guys are smart businessmen. Why would they do that if it was lowering the sales of the marketplace? Why selling 20$ what they could sell 500? Probably because it brings traffic, new users, and at the end of the day, more sales for authors and more $$ for them. We’re in the same boat on this one.
I tend to think buyers buy what they need for a specific project. Personnaly, i will buy the bundle like i did the previous one, because it’s cheap, and maybe one day i will use some items, maybe, one day, or not. I’m not a big buyer, I bought a few items before, for some low budget clients (graphics, video, audio), but for thoses specific projects, Bundle items didnt fit, so i bought regular ones…
Hi, You have a lot of spacing and align issues. Too many to list here. Designing with a grid would help you. I suggest you learn a bit more about it. Here’s a good start: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2007/04/14/designing-with-grid-based-approach/ it’s a bit old post, but still valuable.
Good work, and good luck!
