Do not call out or criticize other people’s files on here [especially not the most highly ranked and respected author on the network].

With all due respect your theme is nowhere near as good as most of the themes here.

Yes there are issues on the services page as the whole page moves when one item highlights

Charlie is right the design is very outdated, the typography needs work and you have some fundamental design 101 issues.

No i would not buy it if I knew that the author would not be updating but in fairness to authors they are not obliged to do it, circumstances may change and force them not to be able to do it, Envato does not require it and I would bet that the vast majority of buyers do not ask the question before buying – many of them are too inexperienced to even consider it.

At the end of the day while you have a valid point and you would hope that most authors will update themes the bottom line is that if they choose to or not buyers have no right to request a refund according the the terms and conditions under which they bought the file, as long as it worked on WP version whatever was the latest at that time.

A fair point but forgive the beginner question – if a final version (not just beta) of WP 3.6 is not yet available in its finished format and an author wants to release their theme, surely it is possible that they may not be able to create it with certainty that it will all work without an issue? i.e How can an author make a WP 3.6 theme before it is complete?

Again we always thought that if it is supported at time of release then that meets all necessary requirements and while it is likely they would release an updated version there is no obligation, and how would a buyer know if a theme is going to be WP3.6 compatible before it is out?

Thank you that makes more sense. I was always under the impression that as long as it worked on the latest version for when it was released then should the author decide not to update it to the next version that is just unfortunate.

Good to know Thank you

You can ask for a refund for an unsopported item you bought

Can you ask for a refund if there is no support for an item? I thought support was voluntary from authors?

Hi all, I was wondering how to describe and any tutorials for the overlay effect on the footers in http://goo.gl/BJUBO and http://goo.gl/kffCU.
I am assuming it uses fixed panels or divs?

Sorry for the relatively newbie question and any help very much appreciated.

No. It is not just about the site – the need for English goes beyond the content of the site itself (that could be Lorum Ipsum etc if needed).

You will have to get this http://themeforest.net/make_money/become_an_author translated and you can learn about becoming an author

I am sorry to hear your work has gone rejected BUT do not call out reviewers in here and spamming on multiple other peoples threads regarding your own is not going to help you

Glad you got it fixed but I agree with charlie4282 first off when your multiple threads were posted it appeared that they had replied on comments etc but that’s irrelevant-the point is many authors make their living on here and you coming on opening negative threads that are not true ( it’s irrelevant what or how they replied the fact is that they had EVEN when support is not mandatory!), is damaging to their reputation and unfair.

On a separate note reading your other thread about this with all due respect if as it appears the issues was your screen being too narrow or zoomed too far and it was a case of checking the screen options then really that could classify as “foolish” behaviour and I would question if you should be taking on client work.

either way you got it fixed so problem sorted.
