It’s a nice idea, but honestly I wouldn’t consider this a priority. If I wrote out the top 10 things I’d would like to see changed or updated on the marketplaces, this would not make the list.
I would prefer the developers work on things like improved search, home page layouts, item categorization, author collaboration, item cross referencing, API updates, etc…
I’m not sure it would even make my top 20 list. That doesn’t mean it isn’t a good idea, just low priority in my view.
Edit: Item discussion areas having forum capabilities or searching might be #1 on my list.

Thank you for posting this. My wife was on my case last night because she wanted me to go ahead and book my flight but I was refusing until you announced the location. Looks like the pub is across from the Doubletree, guess I know where I’ll be staying
I will be there!
Someone in the original thread proposed the idea of wearing shirts with our avatar’s on them. I’m probably not going to be in a t-shirt but name tags with our icons on them to help people recognize each other would be pretty cool…

900 per license is sick… seriously…
I can’t stand Cu3er in themes because I think it’s gimmicky. At least in this marketplace it distracts the buyer from the actual theme, but that’s not to say it isn’t super cool. Using it the right way can be an incredible addition, as demonstrated on the Cu3er website. But as far as the license cost… with the number of requests I get for it in my own themes, I’d be willing to bet they would make some serious money if they just dropped that license to $99. I’d buy it for all my theme’s at that price. That’s $500 of my money they would have already if not for the overpriced license.

Is it possible to get a virus if you open a malicious email or dowload torrent software?
Yes.
If you download torrents (especially illegal software, music, THEMES
etc.) you will get a virus before long. Many of them will just sit on your computer in the background for months before you even realize they are there, while others will attack right away. Either way you’re going to get a virus if you use any type of warez regularly.

Does it work in FF 3 ? Most people using Firefox update when new versions are released. It’s not like IE where you get stuck using an old version forever because the operating system doesn’t support the newer browser (Win98, and soon XP not supporting IE9 ). That’s the reason we have issues with old versions of IE. Otherwise people would upgrade, it’s just that they can’t because the browser is built to be defendant on the OS so new versions can’t run on the older OS.
I think it will be accepted as long as it supports FF3 +.
My server stats show, 0.01% of my traffic is FF2 .x, but over 50% from FF3 +.
This is kind of interesting. I had a browser identify itself as FF 6 .7 in my log. Must have been someone from the future checking out my work

Is it just me or is the title and main menu just a little off center to the right?it is when your shrink the browser down. Im running 1920×1200 so my browser is set pretty big
I’m pretty sure it’s off center from the content no matter how wide your browser.
