I started from scratch again and did what you said but what exactly do you mean with depth edges (should I select the edges on both sides of the “bevel”?) and a high pinch?

Right now I’m creating a 3D logo in 3DS Max by creating workpaths in Illustrator and importing them. All went well until I created a Bevel Modifier and saw that the holes in the letters (A,O,R) were capped. Could anyone tell me what a solution might be to this problem?

I’m wanting to buy a model but it’s a bit older than I had hoped for. It was made in MAX 7 but I need to open/edit the file in MAX 2010 . Is that possible without errors showing up?

Currently I am working towards setting up my own webshop using Prestashop. But I haven’t found any attractive (premium) themes that I would like to use. I am a graphic designer and I am able to come up with something that I like. But I would like to know a few things first before I start creating my own design.

1. How much would it cost to program a design to a fully functional Prestashop theme similar to this (yes I know it’s OSCommerce: http://osc4.template-help.com/osc_29520/index.php)? 2. How fast can it be done? 3. How much would it cost to modify an existing theme?

I’ve been looking at Prestashop themes but 90% looks absolutely amateur! Not to mention the sites that sell them…Themeforest NEEDS a Prestashop category ASAP !

I’m the kind of guy that will purchase a premium theme and modify it slightly because I just don’t know how to code. I’d like to use Magento (I’ve seen a couple great themes here) but apparently there are too many downsides. I will keep track of this discussion.

I’ve read reviews on that plug-in but most say that the support is extremely lacking and very buggy. But ofcourse….it’s free.

I’d also like to know what systems would be best for a webshop. I looked at Magento which looks fantastic but many users complain about the fact that it’s very heavy software and that you need some type of superserver to make it run properly.

There are many WP plug-ins but I am wondering which one is the best? I actually prefer something for WordPress as I do have a bit of experience but it needs to be stable and preferably no bugs.

Prestashop looks pretty good but I have no experience with it. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
