Last month was the first time I made any $ at all from referrals. Only ever used adobe marketplaces and deviantart which require little effort and are really quick. I haven’t spent any money on advertising yet but maybe in the future so it’s good to have a little bonus each month.

The reviewers will look at the psd template so they will be able to see the true colours. In the preview, the colours will not look to different when you save it as an rgb jpeg.

Your business card is fine. I don’t see anything wrong with it. But honestly, there are only so many ways a minimalist design can be arranged before it appears similar to what has already been done before. Your card doesn’t really bring anything new to Graphicriver—-so what makes you think it will sell any more than the other recently published business cards on graphicriver?

You can see that most of the highest selling business cards are unique OR were unique at the time they were published. Even the most recent cards, despite being similar in their ways, have at least one point on which they can be said to be different. Please keep at it. Also, not intending to be harsh, but your attitude needs to change before you consider “building a business” here.

Really ? How many referrals did you have, and how much did you got, if I may ask ? I’ve got only one referral who registered this month, and he bought a 6$ item.

Well, what i call ‘decent’ isn’t much. I am just very surprised as I rarely make money from referrals because I never really try to publicise. This is in the last couple of days : 96 Clickthroughs—8 Registered Members—5 Deposits—$28.80

Perhaps I should try to start promoting my items more. I’ve heard referrals can get you some good money. Anyone else mind to post there stats? I’d like to see how much someone who really promotes their items, recieves.

I made a couple myself. it’s easy and it really does impress people when they see it in real life.
