I know not all search engines care much for the meta ‘robots’ tag but I’m wondering if it would be a good idea to go ‘index, nofollow’ on my Portfolio page (where there are links to live websites) as I don’t want to be marked down for linking out to unrelated websites.
Any feedback please?
.
Thanks for your reply mate but I actually gave up and used my own fonts Georgia and Lucida.
Deffo agree with that. Not being an author at TF (at the moment) I can only speculate but I think many authors do the ‘tried-and-tested’ designs to earn $$; after all, you wouldn’t want to slave away on a theme for weeks to earn very little.
99% of the designers here have some real talent and I personally think TF would benefit from people breaking out, not just from this design mould but also from the whole ‘Portfolio’ theme – why not try something like this:- Nightclub theme
- Driving instructor theme
- Haunted house theme
- Modelling Agency
- These are all subjects I have personally been asked to design many times.
I don’t want to offend anyone, I mean this only as a constructive comment. I know ‘themes’ are just templates to be tuned by the buyer but in reality a lot of people who buy these themes hardly change them at all so there’s definately an opening there.
I have a number of people interested in becoming affiliates for a product I sell but I’m not sure how to make affiliate links so’s I know who sent the customer. Any ideas please? I think it’s a CGI thing isn’t it?
Do you recognise Fonts better than the ‘WhatTheFont’ website? If so, could you tell me the names of these fonts please:

I just hope this competition will work unlike the ‘Win $3500’ thing : http://blog.themeforest.net/competitions/win-3500-to-spend-on-the-ultimate-creative-setup/#comment-12753
which no longer actually allow you to post a link to your bookmarks..whoops! I admit Im a bit annoyed with that one but this might be an interesting one.
Hi everyone; I know you are all busy but if you could please help me I’d appreciate it a lot.
I am trying to add ‘Drawers’ to my Contact page – I’ve got it working okay but it wont inherit the font style. Why not? It’s driving me mad.
