Actually I haven’t seen any other site with templates like the ones here, especially for that price. For example, templatemonster’s templates cost 4 times as much and are not any better.
Is there a way to update your files without re-uploading the whole thing, including the PSD ? Sometimes you just want to change a line of code, not re-upload the whole package.
Maybe the author can use those comments as a way to show that he’s quick to fix problems ? This way potential customers know that they can expect good customer service !
We just need some kind of icon or tag that says “fixed !” on the comment reporting the problem, so that people know the issue has been dealt with.
Sorry if this has already been answered, but I was wondering if it’s frowned on to submit the same design both as a site template and as a wordpress theme ? On one hand it gives the user more options, but on the other hand maybe Themeforest only wants distinct submissions ? What’s the official position on this ?
Sorry if this has already been explained here, but a search on the forums didn’t turn up anything.
I’m wondering what’s ThemeForest’s policy regarding SIFR and font licensing issues. Some foundries state that you need a separate license for every computer a font is installed on, including the web server running SIFR . (http://www.typography.com/ask/faq.php, item 20)
This would mean that the person buying the theme needs to buy the font, too. My question is, as a theme creator, do I:
a) use whatever font I want to and let the buyer sort out licensing issues ?
b) use only free fonts or fonts that permit SIFR use so that the buyer can use the theme without additional expenses ?
