Nah nah, too bad. 2012 for IE6

You can ignore the previous version, 6 years after the last version has been released. Because IE7 was released in 2006, we can ignore IE6 in 2012.

Yea sorry, I messed up! It was too late!

The book says you can ignore the previous version after 6 year of the release of a new version. So because IE7 was released in 2006, we can stop being accountable for bugs in IE6 in 2012. Quite a mistake on my behalve, sorry!

Following Jakob Nielsens usability theories, you should consider designing for browsers versions up to 5 years old. Since IE6 was launched in 2007, that might be what the maya’s where fearing about 2012
