I think there’s two (broad) kinds of things being sold here:

+ Designer Tools: Things designers (or wannabe designers) buy to use in their own work. This includes web buttons, vectors, actions, textures, etc. etc. Things you either use to make something else or include in your design.

+ Templates: Things that are complete works on their own. Presentation templates, 404s, flyers, etc. Most buyers buy these to use them as they are or with small some modifications. Designers might buy them to survive a tight deadline or to tinker with them.

Why not separate this way? Have TemplateRiver and DesignersCave, catered to two different kinds of customers instead of separating by the type of files.

BTW , one category that really needs it’s own marketplace is Fonts. That way fonts can also get better licensing options, like buying a font by desktop seats instead of number of uses.

I don’t understand what you mean by Road Trip, like a road trip movie?

Stay safe guys! I just saw on TV that the police HQ got attacked too?. Reminds me of the looting around here on 2001, hopefully the police will be able to contain rather than just shoot anyone and generate more excuses for riots.

There are some incidents in Chile too (though much less violent).

Dear Envato: Just WTH is going on with you? FlyerRiver, Batch uploads abusing the homepage, drops in the quality of items and now this?? Did management change?

There’s so many areas GR could expand, like art printing or T-shirts/clothing (I wouldn’t mind wearing some of the illustrations in this site). Logos simply can’t be mass designed. They can’t be sold as stock, even if it just the shapes. It’s like selling my fingerprints so someone can modify them and use them as his.

Look at Target’s logo: It’s two concentric circles. Are you going to accept this? Or are you going for the clipart route?, What are your customers going to say when their ””logo”” looks like $ x%x on a 1-ink print? Or at small sizes? Or at a distance?

Not to mention the legal issues others have brought up. And the mass of (ab)users from sites like 99designs that will flood GR.

Why not just make a “shapes” category inside Vectors? Let ””“designers””” use them as logos if they wish, but don’t bastardize your very own industry.

Looks great! It may be rejected if there are too many prices tables like that, but you have a good starting point to make it more “unique” later. I’d say you upload it and see what happens

Congrats StockDesignMan! I got rejected for the 3rd time after waiting +3 months for each rejection and I’m not trying again. Adobe sucks.

Thanks everyone for your comments! I decided to try and do some bigger changes to the file.

@RafaelOliveira I’ve added a more even lightning but I can’t take out the phone since the idea of the background is to show products and stuff.

What do you guys think?
