Hello all
I do sell some files, where a Adobe CS4-CS6 EXTENDED version is needed. Reason for this is the 3D ability that comes only with the extended versions.
Even if i have written it in my file description and in the FAQ section, people keep contacting me to complain about a file that is not working on their “normal” PS versions.
So, does any of you ever encountered a similar issue ? Would it be difficult for the DEV’s to implement that option to the dropdown menu ?
Thanks everyone and keep being creative

I’ve been getting steady sales pretty much since I started uploading here a year and a bit ago, but even with a lot of effort marketing / promoting, trying to engage via social media etc and writing new material (with particular focus on writing tracks that sell here), there hasn’t been an increase in my earnings that reflects the effort i.e. I’ve had the same level of sales since the middle of last year despite consistently building my portfolio. It’s as if there’s a bottleneck / threshold for my sales.
same for me, sales are not bad, but no matter how much time and effort i put into my AJ portfolio (marketing, new tracks, cleaning the portfolio items etc.), changes are month by month around the exact same numbers. Thats not a bad thing, as it could also decrease in one month, but it’s not very motivating to put more effort into it since its not changing anything.
Another thing i found a bit weird regarding the top authors list. It’s not the same pair of shoes imo if you have a portfolio of 2000 FX that costs 1-2$ or if you have 100 tracks for around 10-15$. I can see that you can more easy get into the top authors list by selling from a FX portfolio, as it only counts how many items have been sold. Hope non of the FX authors gets offended by my thoughts, but i think it’s not really reflecting anything else than….well yes, how many items you’ve sold

I don’t like it. We slave away over keyboards, computers and ukuleles while other people steal, it appears…
True ! And this is why we all should have an eye open on the marketplace, as reviewers can’t know every track out there in the universe from every single genre or style. So it’s also up to us to protect our original work and ban authors which came to AJ to earn some fast cash with stolen tracks !
And remember, better open a support ticket instead of posting it here !

Hello luca
It’s ok if you embed the tags for example with iTunes or any other common mp3 app. Yes, you can’t sell the track anywhere else than TRAX in this case.
Maybe you should consider uploading it somewhere else tho, as TRAX is not realy something that is highly supported by Audiojungle or Dj’s out there.
Just my opinions tho

JSBond saidYou know we’re awarding a prize for the best item, right?
It shouldn’t really be to the first 30 authors that uploads first. This encourages rushed and poor quality work. What’s stopping everyone just rushing this just for money? The quality bar for Envato isn’t actually set that high, so it’s viable.Everyone should have a fair chance of winning and not to the first 30 packs. If you ask me, after the deadline, Envato should pick 30 winners out of the entire collection of sound effects packs uploaded from now to the deadline.
Jus’ sayin’.Have a read of the announcement again.

Oh I read that part, but that isn’t my point. My point was people rushing towards uploading rushed content to claim the prize money. Doesn’t matter about the “best” item award if all the content is rushed out in the first day.
The first 30 items are probably completed/uploaded now, if not today then tomorrow at the latest. I’d rather see someone spending a whole week on a pack than to see a fest of people rushing the packs in the first day.
But that’s me,
While it really makes me happy to see some again some sort of a contest, i’m a lso a bit concernd about that “first 30” limitation. As i have just read it now, it would mean i would have to “rush” as well to be a part of the competition. I will anyway submit a package, but i will take my time….even if i’m to late, i will still have a new sound fx package in the jungle
Thanx guys for bringing some life again to the jungle.

TortoiseTree – the song can sound like it was produced in a trillion dollar studio, if it`s not catchy enough and it`s not what the customer wants , then oops , bad luck!
Who needs a trillion dollar studio nowadays to create a decent soundquality ?
