Just want to chime in as an AudioJungle author. The ratings make no sense for us. The buyer can always hear exactly what he’s going to buy. Sometimes we still get a low rating. Why would anyone buy something they don’t like and then rate it low? I don’t see the benefit of a rating system for AudioJungle since you can always check the product in full before buying.
Just a few words from me.
Revturkey, Ice Station has a nice theme to it. Like it.
Well, I only have 2 tracks in my portfolio, hehe, and to be honest, I really do think my latest one is great. It’s upbeat, happy and got a nice swing to it. It was fun laying down a melody that would work both for the violin and the bells.http://audiojungle.net/item/happy-and-successful/4425701
Yes, a company could buy a song here and use it in their trailer with a regular license. For broadcasting, movies and tv, an extended license is needed. But yes, it’s a low fare and I think most authors would like to see a change in the licensing regarding broadcasting and such.
Most stock music publishers don’t like microstock sites since the microstock sites too some extent compete with them. Consider when they are trying to license out a song (with PRO) to companies at a much higher cost and the company says, “but we can get a similar song on AJ for almost nothing, why shouldn’t we use that?”.
dBlever saidThis requires the customer to know what an RSS-feed are and how to handle them. It would much simpler with a clear and easy to use system. A simple subscribe to be updated via email button would be simpler. It would simply send an e-mail with update notification to their account email.
Your profile should have an RSS feed for notifying a subscriber of a new item.
The current “follow”-system clearly doesn’t work since you can’t even check who you’re following.
It all depends on the track I guess. I know some call it lazy but in some circumstances it actually works. Especially for longer pieces in low tempo.
Although, here on AudioJungle, if you can’t come up with an ending, upload it as looped
Love the site and the concept! Even more so that it was launched on april 1st.
Aha, a little googling and I found them. Fall out boy.
Congrats. Like the humorous tone or the song. I just wonder why Discovery keep doing these kinda shows? Are they that popular?
