Actually September is a bit better than August. August was the worst month ever, didn’t know what happened but our sales dropped around 25% on August although we released a new item on August.
As mentioned previously, a refund can still provide valuable feedback on a item’s functionality and presentation. In those cases we will still allow a user to rate.
Wow, how can it be allowed? Didn’t you guys ever think that a competitor who doesn’t like a theme can simply bought the theme, place 1 star rating then submit a ticket to Envato support and making-up excuses to get a full refund and once he get a refund the rating still remain.
Off of the homepage in a little less than 24 hours.
Really hate things like this when it happens, it just really unfair.
Envato should have a queue for approved items, each approved items will go to this queue and will automatically published on previously defined date set by the reviewer.
With this feature reviewer have better management on how many items from the same category to be published each day.
Really disappointed on how the review process now takes 3-4 times longer than usual. Our last theme on mid February was accepted in less than 2 days (including 1 revision) and that was on weekend!
From what I see, the slow response from the review team started happened since late February.
I don’t mind if we have to wait longer for the items to be published once it is approved, what I do mind is waiting for a week just to get the first response from the review team.
I mentioned Collis on Twitter about the issue but it seems that he was just to busy replying or he just didn’t care about the issue
Hey guys. As you know, reviews will get done as they get done It will all depend on how many files are in the queue, how many Reviewers are working, and the type of files their reviewing etc. Try not to worry and let the Review team do their job Thanks!
You seriously asked us not to worry even when the review process takes way longer than usual?
Also, I just don’t see it fair when some authors received longer publication in the homepage and in the first page of the category while some others received less.
Can’t you guys create a feature in the system to schedule when will an approved item gets published? So although an item is approved, it still have to wait until the scheduled time before it appear in the marketplace.
Mid February our WordPress theme was approved within 24 hours (it was during the weekend and item was soft rejected 1 time).
I think the delay in review started since late February (I read same complaints on other thread) but it seems it has gotten a lot worst now. Envato especially Collis really need to do something about it and they need to do it fast!
This is our best month ever, our commission rate climbed up 3 times this month!
@eriktailor You’re kidding, right? On this thread there are several authors that have included Redux in they’re themes and got accepted on ThemeForest http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/nhp-merges-with-reduxframework-check-version-30-out/113130
