Is the “Bookmark this!” button (after you login) not good enough?

It doesn’t look like you’ve done much research. Your offering doesn’t appear very attractive or compelling. Don’t make a plugin just to make money. Make it because it solves one or more problems and / or because you’re passionate about it.

Do more research. Add useful features not found elsewhere. Don’t forget you’ll have to compete with the WP free plugin repository as well as paid plugins on sites like this.

Be honest and don’t re-submit until you’d buy your plugin yourself.

@SpyroPress – Your builder looks heavily inspired by this one. Was it?

I use it and love it. My monthly Adobe Cloud subscription is just about as important as my cable TV bill… except Cloud is far more useful. Worth every penny.

Certainly +1

It’s more important than my Cable and about the same as my Internet bill. Having access to the entire Adobe suite is very handy for one time / minimal use case scenarios. Having access to the latest updates is very nice.

The only program I use with any regularity is Fireworks (which I actually own). Otherwise, I like being able to choose what apps I’ll use in any given month instead of hoping I’ll use said app and paying upfront for it. I’d need to buy the Master collection to approximate this flexibility and something I’d never consider.

...was just wondering how difficult those options would be to be implemented (since everyone says wordpress is easy pie)...

Oh, it is…if you’re just making a blog. However, making a website can be as complex as you make it. Then add to that e-commerce and it’s anything but “easy pie”. Good luck! ;-)

If there’s no need to ship physical products and everything digital downloads instead, you wish to consider this potentially simpler option – https://easydigitaldownloads.com/

All these themes assume a moderate understanding of WordPress. When you add e-commerce solutions such as WooCommerce (just one possibility), you’re also expected to have some familiarity with it. You also should understand that you’ll bear the added responsibility (even if just partially) to protecting vital customer data / preventing identity theft even if using a third party payment processor.

The Envato marketplaces try to make it clear that support is NOT part of any purchase. However, many vendors here offer basic support. Many go above and beyond but teaching you how to use WordPress, WooCommerce is well beyond the scope of the support offered by most vendors here.

The items sold here are inexpensive because you’re either expected to already know what to do with them or be capable of learning how. If you don’t want to pay hundreds to someone who already knows how to do what you’d like them to you might as well get reading and / or watching videos. It’s going to cost you some time to put it mildly.

Finding the right theme / buying it is the easy part and only the beginning. It’s wrong to expect that any theme is all inclusive “site in a box”. It’s not. It still requires much knowledge, assets and work after purchase. While the author can assist with simple questions, you will need to ultimately know how to / learn how to build the actual site with the “tools” you buy.

I see. I imagine this is for a personal project then?

Developing something like the pro version would cost more than $100 of my time and much more if I had someone else make it for me. So, I consider the cost of pro version fairly inexpensive if you’re charging enough for client work or passing the cost to the client.

Good luck finding what you’re looking for. ;-)

I dislike products being sold like this. It would appear that for each ONE additional feature, it’s a new product. My apologies if I’ve gotten the wrong impression from your item pages. No offense meant. This seems like (borderline) market spam.

To be more clear, I’m not commenting on the quality of the items here since the products themselves may be fine. Since Envato obviously allows it, I won’t say anymore.

With so many quality items in the marketplace, the only authors that should really feel threatened by this bundle are the ones that feel their own items are currently inferior to one or more items in the bundle, right? To that I say, just do better until you’re finally confident in your item’s ability to compete.

After looking somewhat closely at the bundle itself, there aren’t really any largely threatening items in the bundle. Nothing trance worthy here. Bundles seem to keep getting worse instead of better too. Maybe it’s just me. 2 weeks IS too long, there’s even less impetus to buy now. No offense meant to Envato or anyone, just my opinion.
