Here’s a wild idea – contact the author and ask him to fix the issue instead of posting angry comments on a forum.

Let me trow out a wild, totally insane idea – invest $9.99 in hosting! You could have earned that money in the time spent creating this thread.

Don’t see this as a priority but it’s always nice to see some new features and fixes.

There are 2 undocumented API sets that I’m aware of: wp-list-themes and wp-download. By “undocumented” I mean they’re not listed on the official API docs. Both methods are used in the Envato WP Toolkit Lib and you can check usage examples on GitHub.
My question: does anybody know any other undocumented sets?

I should learn to use the search better
Alrighty so as a first step we’ll use some fake files but I’ll do make best to make some good ones that everyone can use.

As many TF (and CC) authors know customers have a tendency to “install” ZIP files they download instead of unpacking them and installing only the theme ZIP . This results in a fair amount of support issues, hate comments and general unhappiness in both customers and authors.
My suggestion to fix the problems is as follows: in the root of the downloadable ZIP we place a fake style.css, index.php and screenshot.png. The sole purpose of these files would be to inform the user that this is not a theme and that he’s doing things wrong. So some text like that would be placed on the image, and as the theme name/description. Index.php would remain empty.
I realize that I’m fixing one problem by creating some new ones but I’d really like to make some headway on this problem that’s been troubling us for 2 years on CC and has now started on TF as well. Any ideas are welcome.
