WP 3 .4 wont accept line like this: /* Template Name: MyCustomTemplate /
Change to be like this: / Template Name: MyCustomTemplate */
It work for me.
Congratz, Justin. Welcome, Shaka…
Last time I submited my files, I can passed the Optional WordPress Theme. But now the Optional WordPress Theme is mandatory. Anybody know how to submit the right files? I’m sure just for thumbnail and preview’s file..:-D
*ps= I’m sorry for the title, can’t edit.
I start to make documentation for my soft rejected wordpress theme. Does anybody knows the best resolution for video documentation? I made on 640×480 and resulting a very big file. Link for tutorial will appreciate.
Problem fixed. Just realize using single-[nameofcustompost].php will fix this problem.
I made some custom post type on my theme. Every custom post type have their own page template. Its work perfectly on Wordpress 3.1. I can select every page template from Template drop down.
But when I upgrade to Wordpress 3.3.1, the Template drop down to select page is gone! Why WP 3 .3.1 didnt recognize this feature? Is it a bug? Nothing help from Google. Anybody, please share your experience about this.
I’m a little surprised with my WP 3 .31. Several months ago I installed WP 3 .31. When I switch wp_debug from (false) to (true), my theme shows some errors:
1. PHP Notice: wp_enqueue_script was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the
init hooks. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in /home2/XXX/public_html/XXX/demo/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3587
2. Trying to get property of non-object in /home2/XXX/public_html/XXX/demo/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 30
3. Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/XXX/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php:3458) in /home/XXX/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 866
Last night I downloaded new WP 3 .31 from this link http://wordpress.org/download. Then install it manually. I activated wp_debug. And strangely, all the error in my theme disappeared.
I do not want to believe I have clean theme yet.
In the latest wordpress 3.3.1 which I downloaded, there is a description “This maintenance release fixes 15 issues with WordPress 3.3, as well as a fix for a cross-site scripting vulnerability That affected version 3.3.”
Is there a bug in WP 3 .3.1 which I used before?
Anyone have any experience like this?
Not to derail what bettlesales is saying… I would say your theme functions well from the backend. At least that is what I think the reviewer is saying. So it’s just your design which is poor. Either get in contact with a ‘designer’ or look at the psd template for ‘Inspiration.’
Thanks, iamthwee. At least I know where will I must to go…
