Awesome but I am really surprised by the pricing.

not compared to virtually all your competitors. Google ‘royalty free music’ and compare licenses. I spent thousands on rf audio, just not here. that’s why.
A majority if not all other sites have a standard license price of at least double (and typically more) of AJs. This probably plays a decent part in the decision to not allow cross project usage so if you are advocating for this it’s only right that you should also advocate for a willingness to pay more in exchange :).

Thank you Eric. So to be clear, your presence (which is appreciated) is to help us understand the licensing terms and prices as they’ve been written, but no changes will be made to the structure that has been laid out before us. (at least not now before the rollout) Correct?
The suspense is killing me!
Hey guys, I can’t promise anything either way. Whether it will affect the current plan, or be addressed at a later stage, we welcome your ongoing feedback and further discussion around the additional context I’ve laid out.
Honestly, and this should go without saying, it doesn’t make any sense at all to roll out with a plan that many disagree with from the outset & will seemingly need modifying before it even launches. Doing so says something….IMO.

Nice to see these changes and Envato really stepping up and communicating things thoroughly Colis. Very commendable :).

I really do hope that the very legitimate concerns being voiced over in the AJ forum about the new licensing are being very seriously looked into before rolling them out.

Excellent points made here. Lets hope the powers that be are listening and are looking to make modifications before rolling this out and making eventual changes anyway.

Awesome, awesome news and big props for not only listening to authors (and buyers) but for implementing a huge policy change.

Anyone that was caught should be perma-IP-banned IMO.
