Congrats man. Great job!
Fantastic interview. Thanks for posting.
I agree. Very nice. Great work team
So many great suggestions seem to go unnoticed it seems .
Back to this topic, but I would really like to see less emphasis on promoting “popular files” and more promotion geared towards something like ebay does with popular search terms. Further implementation with specific searches/genres/etc. geared towards buyers previous purchases or searches would be another feature i think would greatly benefit both buyers and all authors.
I understand the reasoning behind promoting the popular files in terms of giving the buyer a good place to start as quickly as possible and it certainly has its place, but I think the same, similar, or even more can be accomplished by promoting popular searches in some cases. For instance, when a user creates an account they are provided with links to the top 5 or so popular search terms/phrases which can be clicked to get the same results you’d get had you typed the term in yourself. Jut minus the extra keystrokes and button clicks.
Outside of a handful of items, the popular files page has pretty much had the same items for the last 4 months. I think implementing a popular searches link/feature would at the very least add another dynamic to allowing users to get to a variety of quality files along the lines of what they are looking for quickly as well as help with the stagnation that seems to occur on the current popular files page.
Just my (very passionate) thoughts on this.
Thats quite the milestone. Congrats!
I’d like to believe that an AJ reviewer wouldnt let through a clipped file in the first place?
