Sadly we just noticed the flickering when watching the footage later on a big monitor and as you can imagine it doesn’t make footage look more professional , which was why we had to re-record a lot of the shots.

Concerning Prime lenses i had the performance/price point for a single one in mind.

@felt_tips i was talking about prime lenses (which do great for the price) and lenses like this: http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/24-70mm.htm which have a fixed aperture, haven’t they?

@effekt_studio I would try to buy lenses with fixed aperture to avoid any flickering issues when changing the focal length.

@cyzer probably panasonic AG-AF101E or sony fs-100 which have quite big sensors and interchangeable lenses.
