I read with all my attention all provided artciles, and could someone explain – will my earnings lower after this changed, same or higher? On provided slides by Collis, it looks like authors earning will be the same. But this example was implemented for Elite Author. What will happen in my case? My current author rate with old system was 54%, now I see on my Earning page that my author fee is 33,75%, so my final rate becoming higher – 66,25%, but now Envato fee excluded from my earnings. Total mess. Help me please.

You can calculate it with: 100 – (33.75*0.8 + 20). That’s the percentage of what you get from the full price.

So, no commission from the surcharge and authors are from now on 20% slower in getting to the next author fee tier. I have no problem with the surcharge (it has to be that way, it is for the best really) but authors getting slower to next fee tier is just greedy – not nice.

^ Something like this would have been better (Our humble opinion – we are not masters of illustration). Also with colors differentiating the status (keeping the badges clean) along with tool tip info description.

Or else, simply the older one should be back. In all cases, the new badges are not professional :(

Something like this fits perfectly.

They are awesome, but they really don’t scale down well.

If an item is in category HTML then an author must provide a static HTML template without any php code. Those posts you see are also static, no CMS there. An HTML item can incorporate a CMS but the author must also provide a pure static version.

In most of them the only thing you see that isn’t static is .php file for email form.

So, the moral of the story is: if you break a leg just cut it off and stick a steel rod instead of it. Why bother with the pain and stuff? And the steel is far more durable than the bones, right? :D

Why is price changed in html vCards and not on CV/resume? It’s basically the same thing, but one is more expensive now.
