Lukas, DON’T! Using the Macbook without taking advantage of its screen is just stupid. I work on a mac and the overall speed quality look everything is just phenomenal. Whoever says that Mac is no match for I don’t know what massive configuration they’ve created is dead wrong. There’s a very good reason why Mac stuff costs so much. it’s worth every penny. The OS itself is amazing, needless to speak about the configuration.

Before I had it I was wondering the same, IMAC vs strong pc config (much stronger than what Mac has). My decision was made for me as I got it as a gift. A week later a friend bought the config I had in mind and it is simply no match for the Mac.

Some elements are a bit old-looking it’s true, especially hovers. But the real problem from my point of view…a BIG problem is that you crowded everything up instead of allowing elements to breathe. The spacing should be much better defined than it is now. Not a designer though so don’t take my advice for granted.

@ TM – for the boutique (pink one) the overlays on items is just horrible. That’s a cheap css3 trick and you should really take it off, it’s ruining the page. Try finding some smoother way of creating a hover effect.

Even if so with the shades and scrollbar. Why would the average looks of a landing page be a reason for the email being snubbed? I don’t get it. The intention is not to make money out of the landing page, but out of what’s in that iframe.

How much would it cost to take a movie from here and customize it slightly? More info privately.

I have, thanks. But NOT what I was talking about. I wasn’t talking about how people find my files or somebody else’s. I was talking about an overall analysis on what people want from Themeforest (and search through the search bar on envato). So not a personal one, an “Envato” one, which might inspire us to go towards a market (the above mentioned “fudge”) we would never think about going towards, but which is mega wanted by clients

I was wondering why Envato doesn’t do this. Doesn’t it look like a much better marketing idea than BUNDLES?

Hypothetically, us authors are creating items around the word “dictionary” because we’ve seen 1-5-100 items getting featured which were about this word, but clients are sick and tired of seeing that everywhere and now the vast majority of people are searching “fudge” but there are only a few(old and nasty), or no items at all, about fudge.

I understand why we can’t have access to client details and I respect that, it’s the right choice, but why can’t we have access to client needs?

I’m not a happy customer and it’s through no fault of any of the authors work. I don’t want bundles! Fix your search engine and improve your customer response times, also listen to your authors! As a customer I read these forums occassionally and all I see are disgruntled authors upset by Envatos decisions (and again lack of response) – doesn’t make me want to support the sites at all even if I like the work of the authors. A search function that works will increase sales on any ecommerce site. Even my girlfriend knows that and she believed me when I said the internet was being turned off for the day to get spring cleaned.
