Thanks for the replies guys! Sorry for my late reply – been away!

Nivo slider is good – I’d probably use it for my static HTML template (as its free) but not sure about using it for my Wordpress themes using the plugin version.

But I’m a big fan of Anything slider however as its a bit more “responsive” I’d say. . . would Anything Slider be OK bianca20576/KobusSwartz?

Thanks guys!

Hi Guys,

Still building my Site Template, with a view for it to turn into a nice Wordpress Theme. All I wanted to ask was, for the homepage, I want to add a nice left/right slider.

When I was doing the “Author Test” here, it mentioned that any online plugins / code (for example AnythingSlider) would require permission from the author(s) to use.

This has probably been asked before, but in your guys experience, what sliders are allowed for use in a Site Template / Theme Item. If I was to use the AnythingSlider plugin for example, would my item be rejected?

Or Should I just build my own one from scratch?

Many thanks guys,

Excited to be part of this community :)

Thanks for your replies and links guys – some really inspiring themes there!

I think I will build Site Templates first to get a feel for this and whatever site templates are good enough to go up I will convert to Wordpress.

Thanks again guys,

Ash

Thanks :) are there any examples of this that you know of by heart on themeforest at the moment by any chance?

Hi All,

Hope you’re all well.

New to ThemeForest. Joined as I love the whole idea of it. The top quality themes out here as well as the option to create your own and make money, been looking for a way to put my front-end / wordpress skills to some sort of use outside of an agency! Hope that my offerings pass the test! Aside from that, I look forward to contributing and being part of a good web design/developer community! :)

Before I ramble on – the question I had was – say I created a Site Template – 20+ HTML pages for whatever the buyer wanted to do with them, could I then use the same Site Template for a Wordpress theme – so there’s the same Site Template and a Wordpress theme in circulation?

Many thanks,

Ash
