Any update on this today? How about a workaround for those affected? Unfortunately the suggestion to use a different paypal account does not work for me as I get the same error with both accounts. Clearing cookies & cache as exstortionist suggested above also does not work. Been 5 days now that I haven’t been able to make a purchase…
Hi, I opened a ticket earlier (UQC-198-37537) but haven’t heard back. The error I receive after clicking pay now is:
“This payment cannot be completed and your account has not been charged. Please contact your merchant for more information. Return to merchant and try a different payment method We are not able to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time. Please return to the merchant’s website and try using a different payment method (if available).”
I have tried 3 different valid credit cards from two different paypal accounts and get the same error each time. The primary currency is USD . Hope this helps. Thanks
ETA * – I just tried again using my linked bank account as the payment method and got the same error.
