I’m not trying to defend anyone, but you realize it’s a warning not PHP error and it’s actually one, only repeated many times in log file? And it’s seems you’re Caps Lock is broken ;]

My bad, I just copy pasted and went to town because I have been dealing with issues with that ridiculous theme for a while as everybody else…. if you want to email me and I will send you my info to forum…trust me, you’ll get your CAPS on tilt too… :)

Any support is not mandatory. Author can tell you “I don’t give support” and it is his right. It’s authors good will to give it so it’s better to respect it. If a stated feature is missing then it’s envatos problem for accepting the item.

WELL DEAR , YOU HAVE BEEN AN AUTHOR FOR 3 -4 YEARS WITH 155 SALES …MAYBE IF YOU SAW THINGS DIFFERENTLY SALES WOULD INCREASE ? JUST A SUGGESTION !

digitalimpact: Don’t get me wrong, I have had great support from a few that are able to keep on top, for example KRIESI to name one… But when you land on an ELITE author who’s support page was prematurely released and doesn’t work half-a**... YET takes the time to log in several replies daily here saying [ please register here to our support page] but can spend DAYS without answering any questions on the support page…It makes you go well…DUH..lol
If you ever use decide to use one of our themes, i welcome you to see why we need a forum. You will see how many requests are there and you cannot handle them via email or comments, because i would go crazy. There are 4,202 topics and 30,607 posts, and little of them are really bugs that where not solved. Most are bugs caused by what the customer does and/or a plugin. But i will help them with that and small changes too. But you have to know that takes a lot of my patience and maybe with the current sales, it’s not really worth it. Maybe that is why some authors stop giving a damn.

THAT IS BECAUSE YOUR THEMES ARE CLEAR AND DIDN ’T NEED SUPPORT BECAUSE OF A GREAT JOB DONE MY LOVE ;0)

Thanks for the message. Slider export was not primarily included in the theme as we thought that everybody will make their own slider anyway.

We’ll release an update with Slider export included and we’ll also update the documentation based on your suggestions.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Update will go out today.

If I get kicked out for posting so BE IT ..I am so fed up really…

I kept not getting answers on this author’s forum and for days kept seeing people asking and asking about the same issues about most of their themes…so I took matter in my own hands and spent some time to figure out the bugs… and posted FIX , added a zip folder with missing images and told them a CRUCIAL factor that they forget to mention on instructions.. Had they not missed that, they would have never been bombarded with the same question over and over…. For them all the answer were clear but without that STEP there is no way people could replicate the demo theme with the xml file…

DON’T GET ME WRONG

They do have unique and creative themes. But the seller doesn’t create them and relies on “off-site” developer to reply so they get overwhelmed I guess… Maybe they don’t speak English well..who knows…

MY POST TO SEVERAL USER QUESTIONS

First of all, AIT FAILS to mention that when importing demo content, you need to make sure TO NOT check sort by “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders ” so MAKE SURE YOU UNCHECK before importing demo content!

I was able to extract the images from their demo site here is zip file ” http://cl.ly/2R1g2N3c1B0q ” open the zip and load all the images to UPLOADS folder directly via FTP

Unacceptable how they miss such a crucial detail in the instructions!!!

Once you do have all images uploaded, download this file and import to slider1 ( make sure your fist slider you create is called ” Slider1 ” and slug ” slider1 ” then save…go back to Slider and click on Slider1….Go to the bottom and simply import this file as is ” http://f.cl.ly/items/1N1k2C2S1B3b010c1i07/revSlider.txt.html ” save as html! Then update slider and VOILA it works perfect! Proof here

Coming to the number of submissions and exposure on the main page; it is a paradox…

Some authors try to make a unique/outstanding file which really takes time (there are authors spending 2-3 weeks only for the help files) , and by the time they’re working on it some authors “create” 2-3 copyCats.

I think current system encourages copycats , and not the authors that creating masterpieces.

I know, it is very sad for those awesome and creative developers out there who work so hard… I am sorry if this happens to you dear
