Nice, might just have to join in on this one!
Being a one man team handling everything from design to dev to support I think the biggest problem is the time frame in which we’ll be forced to answer in. Basically would force me to only do support on a day to day basis, unless I start working 24/7.
I mean Envatos support response time is like a week or more, don’t get me wrong I usually respond to my buyers as soon as I can but without charging quite a bit for support (double theme price) I don’t think this a is a very viable solution.
I think this is a step in the right direction but I feel like Envato is always coming out with half baked ideas and just implementing them.
+1 The easiest way to streamline this would be to add an official “ChangeLog” tab to the item, that authors can populate, and then include a link to the official ChangeLog tag with the update notice.
+1, or for those of us that maintain changelogs on our own servers a way to provide a link in the notification email.
Wow – someone really loves BMW, maybe the new turbocharged M3 would be interesting
LOL Yeah, I’m a bimmer man through and through on my third M3 , previously had a e36 & e46 been thinking about the new M4 haven’t got a chance to test drive one yet hopefully soon. But I’m torn between that a GT-R or the new C7 corvette
My two babies, BMW M3 & S1000RR
You can customize any listing based theme for this purpose, you could easily mod one of my real estate themes for a cleaner/helper directory.
Removing the progress bar is fine, as long as its replaced with something better like your item is X outta XX themes — something to give us an idea of where we’re at.
Otherwise this is step backwards. Don’t like flying blind.
