Why is this inappropriate?

I used to be an avid pc guy, building my own systems and pouring money into them, always making sure I could play the latest games. Since 2009 I’ve switched completely to Apple’s ecosystem. Nowadays I can’t imagine working without the Terminal, TextMate, Transmit, Git, Pow, Reeder, Tower and lots of other really awesome applications.

What makes OS X stand out for me is the astonishing quality of developers for the platform. It just feels as if OS X developers are genuinely better at building great software that actually works.

Also I’m kind of a hipster and adore great design.

I’m the creator of Spina Admin Control Panel which can be found in the Admin Templates section of ThemeForest.

Spina is my third template which I think is pretty awesome. I was thinking about creating a new template but a new idea crossed my mind. I’d like to create a “Pro”-version of Spina, which is equipped with advanced CSS3 -animations, Pictos-server compatibility and lots of awesome widgets & plugins among other things.

Would anyone be interested in such a template? I’d like to offer a Basic (current) and Pro version.

We’ve released three themes so far which have sold reasonably well. We receive lots of emails and phone calls about our services and are grateful for that. We try helping everyone as quickly as possible, which usually happens on a per-user basis.

For our latest theme we’ve released a few small updates fairly quickly after launching which address some bugfixes and small requests. Apparently some people still come across issues. The thing is, we’re really busy answering emails and phone calls and don’t have the time to fully concentrate on bugfixing.

What hurts us is that people start posting comments about how we’re just “running away with the money”, while we’re really doing the best we can. We think people shouldn’t buy our themes in the first place if the state in which they’re sold doesn’t suit them.

How do you guys handle this?

Since switching to Mac I said goodbye to DreamWeaver. I love my current workflow with local development environments using Pow.cx, Git and Chocolat as my favorite editor. Publishing to a production server is as simple as pushing the latest changes from my git repository.
