I don’t use Linkedin very much (never frankly) but it’s useful, anything is useful. Saying that you work online on this platform is definetely something to be proud of

Yep, been there done that!

I had to get a Laptop that could handle Photoshop CS, and was the best available for around $600?

After tons of searching, Toshiba, Satellite Laptops were the most reliable laptops overall, and do run well, with Photoshop!

I used to use a PC with Windows XP, and 500 megs of RAM and a 80gig HD. As you have probably guessed Photoshop took about 5 seconds to sharpen, a 20 meg file image, and drove me nuts, then l revved up the RAM to 1gig and l got it down to a few seconds to make whole image changes, better but still a pill.

Then after months of umming and arring l bought the Toshiba, i3, 2 gig of ram, l think it was 32megs for the graphics, and about 320gigs for the ND for about $600.

After that Photoshop which used to be a constant wait, almost immediately processed a command, and it could also handle bigger image sizes!

So if you want Photoshop to run well, then the i3 is probably your best bet, but if you can or do have the cash then going for a i5, is a step in the right direction.

I recently put more RAM into my Laptop, and it now almost immediately processes commands, It costed me about $40, but if you get a Laptop with 64 bit then you can go for 8gigs and more speed, but some of your old software may not work!

Decisions, decisions. Good luck…

just bought a new Toshiba Satellite day bef yest :D
