IMO it’s best to make it so that when a customer signs up to your forum, they can also tick a box that would sign them up to your newsletter. Otherwise I wouldn’t do it.

+1, use an email opt-in when customers register on your forum.

Never send promotional emails to customers (or anyone) who didn’t specifically agree to receive it.

Hey :)

In WordPress, that’s something a plugin needs to do, not a theme. Themes are should be for visuals, plugins are for functionality.

Try searching for ‘user management’ in CodeCanyon or wordpress.org

By the way, WordPress already has different user levels (from subscriber to admin), I suppose you just need a plugin that manipulates your content based on rules you need.

Note that in Firefox it just keeeeeps on loading, you never see the actual site.

May be due to this error:

ReferenceError: onTouchStart is not defined (in /js/jquery.flexslider.js line 397)

If I’m not mistaken, that bar is not about the items but the marketplace website itself?

Wording is interpretable, a buyer with no experience could understand it refers to the items as well…

My advice after years of customer support (for ThemeForest themes), is to not go ahead and try to contact Envato support on every possible channel. Doing so only creates confusion and adds more work for the support team, which will reply even slower.
I always tweet after sending a support ticket. Always getting a reply within 24 hrs :)

Glad to hear that, I guess I’m letting my frustration come out :P (but I still stand by it)

@germinc hope your situation gets resolved ASAP :)

Nope.

Use generic classes, or advanced selectors (like :nth-child) or if this will be WordPress, create a function hooked to wp_head() that outputs embedded CSS in the head of your document.

If you take a look at other themes, most output embedded CSS that is coming from their options panel, into the < head > of the document.

Another idea is to have a PHP file served as text/css, where you output the metaboxes values that the user sets in the admin of your theme.

I know how it is when you need an urgent answer and start looking for it everywhere, been there myself quite a few times. But it’s best you just have a ticket submitted and wait. They do reply pretty slow nowadays, but they’ll get things resolved.

Finally, since the theme is now removed, that’s actually good news: it may very well be that either Envato or the author have been made aware of the issues – expect the item to return with fixes, or a refund. Don’t panic :)

1.59 seconds from Bucharest, Romania. Whatever it was, it’s not your theme that is slow :)
