Sounds about right, you’ll need A LOT of clicks and especially targeted traffic, in order to get people signed up.
Clickthroughs works fine, but is normal that over 1000 clicks i have 0$ ?

Depends where you’re placing those links, tons of untargeted traffic won’t really bring you referrals.

The catch to any referral program is to have people click your link when they are already thinking to purchase, a.k.a. “in a buying mood” :)

C’mon, stop the lamenting, themes should be themes – and there are awesome themes/ designs here – and plugins should be plugins!

Even though I agree with you if this is what happened in this particular case, that’s not the point.

There have been TONS of other situations where a notice would have saved everybody time and money. Example: the theme’s demo got hacked or flagged as malware by Google (although there was no malware to begin with)... a notice would have fixed this much faster, with no need for a soft-disable.

More info here: http://yithemes.com/blog/yit-news/why-do-our-themes-do-not-appear-on-themeforest-announcement-and-updates/

Envato should read and take note of the comments in that post, to see for the thousandth time how disabling themes without prior notice affects both authors and buyers…

To add to the answers above: if you’re a blogger, you will need some of the features you mentioned, especially these days:

- retina/HiDPI ready : this means that the theme looks sharp on high resolution displays, such as Retina iPhones, iPads or MacBook Pros, as well as any other high resolution displays (mainly concerns images). More and more tablets are getting HiDPI displays + tablet sales are expected to grow 64% this year so yeah, this is a nice feature to have.

- responsive means the theme’s layout will adapt to the resolution of the display it’s being viewed on, for an optimal browsing experience. Since mobile visitors numbers are skyrocketing nowadays, this is pretty important for any serious blogger :)

Thanks everyone, and especially thank you UnitedThemes, that’s exactly what I was looking for ;)

@Sherman – the links lead to two TF theme demos, nothing that anyone previewing them doesn’t get :)

Hey guys,

Can someone point me to the portfolio/gallery of the photographer who makes these photos?

1. http://tinyurl.com/paf9dvp

2. http://tinyurl.com/ndmdm3x

I see them used very often in the demos and I’m sure most of you are familiar with more images in this style; but no one seems to credit the author, so it’s impossible to find him. Google images didn’t help either :(

Thanks!
