Congratulations Maupa! I hope that you will have more like this :-) Good items / ideas + realizations / deserve good sales. BTW , your portfolio shows example that you do not have to be big (only 3 items) to have thousands of sales :-) Cheers!

Hello fellas, Where from can i start 4d ?

Maybe my replay is off topic but why do not try first with Blender to take basics of 3D. After all this software is absolute free and very powerful. Also, there is possibility in Blender to export Blender animation to After Effects for post work.

Blender is not easy IMHO . It’s quite technical, certainly and will take a large investment of time to learn. If you learn a commercial application, then you are also learning a skill that you will be able to use as a freelancer in studios. That’s generally not the case with Blender.

Yes.. you can export stuff to AE from Blender (and to C4D ) There are scripts.

Blender is quite powerful though. I haven’t used it a lot, but unlike many open source projects it’s very developed and could easily be a commercial app.

You are absolute right.

But my point is that basic principles of 3D animation are same in every 3D software and if you want to feel the taste of 3D you can try in almost every application. Like NLE software – when you learn one for example Adobe Premiere you can easily switch to another, for example Edius, or when you learn MS Word you can easily switch to Open office Writer or similar.

Of course, when you come to the decision point when you must choose what software is right for you than you make a choice and focusing on that software.

Today, Blender is far far away from other open source software that “industry” needs. New GUI , IMO is fantastic and very user friendly. But obvious, at this point in industry timeline, C4D is first choice software, unless you work in Pixar where is former Alias Wavefront and today owned by Autodesk, Maya is dominant. :-)

Cheers! :-)
